Who We Are

Purpose Statement

Our Purpose is what captures and defines what we do.

“Where life intersects truth.”

When your life is at a crossroads, we want to be a place that helps your life intersect with God’s truth.

Vision Statement

To help people place Jesus at the center of their lives.

Our vision is what we see for people. Scripture tells us God has a vision to love the world, “For God so loved the world.” (John 3:16)  Therefore, our vision for Crossroads is about people because people make up the world God loves.  Jesus commissioned us “to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere.” (Mark 16:15)  The Good News is Jesus saves!  “It is this Good News  (I Corinthians 15:2-4)  Accepting Jesus as God’s Son and your Savior means placing Jesus at the center of your life.  Our vision is to see this happen in the lives of all people, all over the world.  This vision begins by placing Jesus at the center of our own life.  Then we must help Jesus become centered in the lives of those we know.  And finally we must take Jesus into all the world. “And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) that saves you if you firmly believe it…that Christ died for our sins.  He was buried, and He was raised from the dead on the third day, as the scriptures said.”

Mission Statement

To invest in building relationships and making disciples.

Our mission is how we believe God wants us to fulfill our vision and purpose.  Scripture gives us a clear picture of what biblical investment looks like, “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:36-47)  This scripture describes how the first church in Acts fulfilled their mission.  They invested in building relationships through ordinary, everyday ways and then invested in making disciples out of ordinary, everyday people.

Process For Spiritual Growth

  • Family Environments where people feel accepted by the unconditional love of God.
  • Relational Environments so people become connected relationally and are learning continuously.
  • Missional Environments to allow people opportunity to serve (in their gift mix) and live purposefully for God.
  • Leadership Environments to equip people to lead faithfully with Jesus at the center of their lives.
